Clay & Coffee: A Pinch Pottery Workshop | Oct 24 @ 10 AM

Slow down, sip something beautiful, and create something with your hands. Join us at Poets & Prose Coffee Roasters for a cozy morning of pottery, specialty coffee, and creativity. This hands-on workshop will be led by Lara, the talented ceramic artist behind the Celina & Evergreen mugs. If you've admired these beautiful handmade mugs at Poets & Prose, here's your chance to learn from the maker herself! Lara will guide you through the art of hand-building your very own ceramic pinch mug, sharing her techniques and love for working with clay along the way. Whether you're completely new to pottery or simply looking for a creative escape, this workshop invites you to slow down, get your hands a little messy, and make something uniquely yours.

Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans

We recommend resting your coffee for 10–14 days after the roast date. Freshly roasted coffee continues to release CO₂ as it degasses, and too much retained gas can interfere with extraction, sometimes resulting in a sharp or uneven cup. A little rest allows the coffee to settle and its flavours to become more balanced and expressive.
